The last (and only) Laura Lippman book I've read previous to Wilde Lake was The Girl in the Green Raincoat in I had to look up the summary of the book to remember what the book was about and why I gave it 2 stars/5.

'Wilde Lake' is the first novel by Laura Lippman that I have read and I did so because of a highly favourable review in a reputable publication. It surprised me, then, as I was reading, that the reviewer had made no mention of the similarities between the characters in 'Wilde Lake' and those in Harper Lee's novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.Reviews:   'Wilde Lake' is the first novel by Laura Lippman that I have read and I did so because of a highly favourable Wilde Lake book in a reputable publication.
